A moment in history March 19th 2010
I rather liked the last one so here's another.
On March 19th 2010 there was a slightly delayed plaque unveiling at the Langham Hotel in London. The plaque commemorates the dinner held there on August 30th 1889 to which magazine editor J.M. Stoddart invited Arthur Conan Doyle and Oscar Wilde.
The picture below was taken just after Giles Brandreth unveiled the plaque and you can see him working his way back along the hotel wall to safety. The arrow points me out.
