How does it look?

I have just read through my fledgling novel for the first time since I restarted it. Thanks to the pressures of the day job I have not had any time to devote to my detective so reading through the work so far was worthwhile.
 
I am still pleased with it. Certainly it needs work but that will get dealt with in due course.
