The Saf-Tip Disposable Enema (yes really)

One last cheeky post before the New Year.

Every so often you are treated to a little gem. A short while ago I ordered From Abbey to Wiles from the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. When it arrived it was accompanied by AdvertiSHing - Sherlock Holmes in Advertising.

This was a complimentary gift from Bob Ellis, whose work it is.

It is a modest tome at sixteen pages and it showcases a number of advertisements in which Holmes is used to advertise everything from chewing gum to the Saf-Tip disposable Enema.

I don't know if it is possible to get it directly but an email to the Society will probably get an answer.
