Where to begin?

Thanks to all who answered my last post about a move into fiction. Of, course where to start?

The natural starting point has to be Sherlock Holmes pastiche. I don't read too much of it, not out of any objection to it, but I so rarely find examples that match my idea of Holmes.

So, if you read them, who do you think has produced the best Sherlock Holmes pastiche of the last few years. I will then share links.
