SHSL 2017 Annual Dinner - January 14th
A momentous weekend approaches for UK based Sherlockians. On Saturday the 14th The Sherlock Holmes Society of London hosts its Annual Dinner at the House of Commons in Westminster.
The guest speaker this year is Mark Billingham - author of the Tom Thorne crime novels.
It is unavoidable that a sizeable amount of conversation will concern the current series of Sherlock and all our theories about how the story will end the next day.
Many members and their guests gather at the nearby St Stephen's Tavern for swift drink before navigating the parliamentary security systems. It's a small venue so if you enter it and see someone in a DJ the chances are that they're going to the dinner.
Until then.....
