Book giveaway - Conan Doyle for the Defence

On the same day I posted my review of The Ardlamont Mystery I was approached by Profile Books to review Conan Doyle for the Defence.

This book is a non-fiction account of the Oscar Slater case in which Conan Doyle involved himself in the early part of the 20th century. After the George Edalji case, this is the most famous real-life case of injustice that Conan Doyle took interest in.

The book is released on the 28th of June and can be ordered from Amazon UK here. However, Profile Books have also provided me with a copy to give away.

To have a chance of winning answer this question - at which prison was Oscar Slater largely confined prior to his release?

Closing date for entries is June 27th - the day before the book's release. Please send your entries to my blog's email address (on the contact page). I will select the winner from the correct entries.

In order to comply with GDPR rules I will seek your address to post the book to you. Once the book is posted I will delete all correspondence.

Good luck.
