It's a twisted world

Only recently I was bemoaning all the things that were getting in the way of me completing my first draft. Now the situation is slightly different.

Due to recent events, which it would not be appropriate to go into here, I find myself seeking an escape in my first draft. In my desire to avoid certain events (or at least having to think about them) I am going out of my way to make time for my draft.

Hence my remark that it's a twisted world. I apologise to my readers for this moment of self-pity and I hope that normal service will resume asap.
